Our Breakfasts
FULL ENGLISH
Enjoy a full English breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients including Cumberland sausage and thick sliced dry cured back bacon. The one exception to our locally sourced products is the award winning Stornoway black pudding handmade by Charles MacLeod butchers on the Isle of Lewis in the Hebrides – this is the best black pudding we have tasted and most of our guests agree.
Testimonials
“Anne and Paul are the perfect hosts. Friendly, knowledgeable and keen to make your stay as wonderful as possible. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with good facilities and fantastic views. The breakfast was amazing – lots of choice with fantastic fresh fruit and cracking, quality coffee. The cooked breakfast was delicious and made with total dedication by Paul, who takes enormous pride over everything he does. Anne was the perfect host and we all felt incredibly spoilt. The location of the B&B is perfect, 5 minutes walk from the main town and close to the lovely parks and trails that start nearby. Prices are very reasonable indeed and if there is a better B&B I would be amazed.”

“Stayed here for 2 nights during the Keswick beer festival weekend with friends. This was our 1st visit to the Rowan Tree having previously stayed in various other B&Bs in Keswick. The service we received was first class throughout with breakfast being the highlight which other reviewers have justifiably commented upon – the black pudding was fantastic & Paul has kindly shared with us his supplier so that we can order online! Anne was a perfect hostess throughout the breakfast proceedings. Crisp cotton sheets with fluffy towels. Superb price, great service, clean and welcoming hence 5 star rating from us all. We’ll be back which is an endorsement of our appreciation. Thanks for hosting us Paul & Anne & best of luck with your business.”
